Flight 4716, operating under the airline’s regional brand American Eagle, was enroute from Indianapolis when it experienced an electrical issue at around 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23.
The Embraer 175 plane was diverted to Albany International Airport, where it landed safely roughly 15 minutes later, airport spokesperson Steve Smith told Daily Voice.
Airport firefighters escorted the aircraft to the gate and all passengers and crew deplaned without incident.
Following a three-hour delay, the flight departed from Albany at 2:40 p.m. and continued on to Boston.
